WHAT

This March, St. George and St. Shenouda’s Coptic Orthodox Church will host the 9th Annual Art in Heaven Gallery. Our generous and talented artists are creating and donating several pieces of Christian-themed art to be showcased and sold via a silent auction. Works of various forms will be exhibited, including paintings, sculptures, photography and woodworks. Our aim is to display the talent of Christian artists in a spiritual setting. Please join us for a night of original and innovative art, hors d’oeuvres, and fellowship.

HOW

Each piece of artwork will be sold to the highest bidder via a silent auction. Upon entering Loew’s Theatre, those interested in bidding will register to receive a number by which they will bid anonymously. Beside each piece will be a sheet of paper which includes information about the work and artist. Each work will have a reserve price (minimum bid) and required bidding increments. At the end of the auction, the highest bidder wins the item, for whatever price he/she offered. Bidders must be present to collect the piece(s) they’ve purchased.
