Mariam has had a passion for art since she was a child. In high school she was instructed to work on a pattern in copper, which had an underlying meaning of something representational to her. Mariam was confident that the best way to describe her life and inspiration was through a cross. Keeping that quality of a hidden message, all of her religious pieces are based on Biblical verses, hidden within the name of the piece. Mariam decided she wanted to create for a living. She held Romans 12:6 close to heart and realized she wanted to study more in the field, using the gift God has granted her. Mariam continues with her love for the fine arts as she is close to completing a Bachelor’s Fine Arts specializing in Graphic Design at Rutgers University with a minor in Art History.
