Mina was born in Cairo, Egypt and still lives there. He works in the faculty of Art Education as a lecturer where he teaches Methods of Art. Mina is currently working on his Master Thesis in “Creative Industries and Advertising”, while at the same time working as a freelance storyboard artist with many national and international advertising agencies. He draws illustrations of children’s books for “El-Keraza Festival” with the Youth Bishopric. Mina’s main interest now is Coptic Iconography, as he tries to develop a new style while still preserving the main concepts and features to produce a contemporary style that could be used not only in churches, but also to help spread Coptic Art around the world.
